Shift Details: Day Shift (37.5 hours/week) – 5x7.5hr shifts | Between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (varied start times) | No weekends, no call, no holidays

Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing IR and cardiovascular interventional procedures. This role includes patient assessment, procedural support, and post-procedure recovery care in a day-shift-only setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-procedure patient assessments
• Assist physicians during IR and cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor patients during and after procedures
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Provide post-operative care and patient education
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols

Patient Population & Procedures

• Adult patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Cardiovascular interventional procedures
• PICC line placements (required skill)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License – Required
• BLS and ACLS Certifications – Preferred/Required (based on facility)
• Minimum experience in IR or procedural nursing – Preferred
• PICC line placement experience – Required

Skills Required

• PICC line insertion and management
• Procedural nursing and patient monitoring
• IV therapy and medication administration
• Strong assessment and communication skills

Scheduling Details

• 5 days/week (37.5 hours)
• Shift options: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends
• No on-call
• No holiday requirement
• Occasional late stay for post-op cases (9–5 shift)
