Site Reliability Engineer

MUST HAVE:

1. Certification - Azure Solution Architect Expert Certification (Az-303 & Az-304) and/or Azure Infrastructure Design (Az-305)
2. 3+ years Must have worked on Azure CLOUD Migration projects
3. Must have coding experience using Terraform

Roles & responsibilities:
Looking for the following experience or equivalent combination of education and experience as a minimum:
Knowledge of Azure, ideally certified to expert level is considered essential. Ideally have also achieved AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience as Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, System Designer or Technical Lead for more than 3 years.
Three or more years working in a distributed and heterogeneous computing environment (ZOS, UNIX, Windows).
Three or more years demonstrated experience in working with relational (and/or hierarchical) databases (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Three or more years demonstrated experience in modern software application technologies.
Experience in the design and implementation of robust and scalable infrastructure architectures.
Experience of working with DevOps tooling including: Bitbucket, Jira, Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, HashiStack (Terraform, Vault, Consul), CloudFormation, ELK, Prometheus, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Tivoli/Smart Cloud.
Experience working with Terraform Enterprise and Kubernetes.
Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery process and testing in Public Cloud.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving and time management skills.
Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take.
Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed.
Willingly and successfully fulfills the role of teacher, mentor, and coach.
May require in-depth knowledge of networking, computing platform, storage, database, security, middleware, network and systems management, and related infrastructure technologies and practices.
