We are looking for a temporary accounts payable specialist to manage invoice processing and vendor statements in our Iselin, NJ office. This position is a temporary position with the potential to convert to full time after 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and payments accurately and timely.

• Verify and reconcile vendor statements.

• Maintain accounts payable records and files.

• Assist with month-end closing activities.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments.

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.

• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The expected salary for this position is X-X.

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.

If a requisition is being posted in multiple locations with pay transparency requirements, an individual salary range by state should be included.
