Navigator Nurse Practitioner

Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) is seeking to employ a Navigator Nurse Practitioner at our brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Edison, NJ. This facility is expected to open in 2026 at the Metropark train station - a major transportation hub in New Jersey. The health and wellness center at Metropark is the first time a comprehensive health network will be built at a major transportation hub. This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner leader to become a member of the expanding HMH network. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and strong communication skills with a commitment to outstanding patient care. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee patients needing assistance with a referral to ortho, neuroscience , spine and PMR providers.
  • Manage all clinical and support staff, oversee daily operations, and serve as the primary point of contact for new patients, directing them to the appropriate specialty care for ortho, neuro, spine and PMR care.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, management of complex health problems, and ensuring JCAHO compliance.

The minimum base salary for this position is $146,057.60.   • Productivity : Levels of productivity, quality and patient satisfaction.
  • Skills : Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.
  • Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
  • Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
  • Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
In addition to our compensation for full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits. The final compensation and benefits package will be discussed during the interview process.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Minimum of 5 years of RN/Specialty experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership or administrative experience.
  • Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Current NJ Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) License.
  • Board Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active NJ CDS and DEA registrations for prescriptive authority.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Nurse Practitioner role preferred
