Qualifications
- Valid Special Education teaching credentials
- Must hold credits in Math, or a Teacher of the Handicapped certification with Math credits
- Proven ability to work onsite throughout the school year
- Prior experience in special education classroom settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized math instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to accommodate varied abilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and student progress reports
