Purchasing Associate

Lyra Technology Group is seeking a Purchasing Associate for one of our OpCos, Tech-Keys.

Requirements

• Desire to work on the customer-facing side of a tech company
• Any IT experience is a plus
• Strong interest in IT is a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is a plus
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
• Strong interpersonal skills including phone manner, written communication, and client-care
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative
• Hardworking and dedicated outlook
• Good collaboration and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed
• Ability to take direction, absorb information quickly, and work independently when needed
• Ability to occasionally lift items up to 65lbs

Expected Outcomes

• Processing orders for both internal and client hardware and software
• Product sourcing for client requested hardware
• Continuous communication with clients to ensure appropriate products are proposed
• Preparing proposals for client review
• Communicate with vendors and negotiate the best possible pricing
• Maintain organized management over inventory of internal hardware and supplies
• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipment
• Responsible for periodic deliveries to facilities or client locations
• Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered
• Obtains purchased items and forwards to necessary department(s), while monitoring and expediting orders as needed
• Draft a variety of communications, including client interaction
• Take a personal interest in and be responsible for the quality of work performed or associated with
• Follow all company policies and best practices such as accurate time tracking
