Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated ACLS/PALS Instructor to join our team as a Simulation Specialist. In this role, you will deliver AHA-approved courses daily, using lectures, hands-on skills, and simulations. The instructor ensures participants meet course objectives, follows 2025 AHA Standards, and creates an engaging and effective learning environment for adult learners.

Job Description

• Deliver ACLS and PALS courses per 2025 AHA Standards using lectures, hands-on simulations, and skills stations.
• Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and issue certifications.
• Prepare and maintain course materials, equipment, and manikins.
• Ensure compliance with AHA course policies and documentation requirements.
• Stay current with updates to AHA guidelines and integrate changes into teaching.
• Support organizational training goals and maintain high-quality instruction standards.

Skills Required

• Paramedic or equivalent emergency care background (RN not required).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience instructing ACLS and PALS courses.
• Experience with adult and pediatric resuscitation.
• Strong communication and classroom presentation skills.
• Proficiency with simulation equipment and emergency care scenarios.
• Experience in delivering courses in hospital-based training environments preferred.
• Ability to manage groups of healthcare professionals in classroom and hands-on settings.
• Professional mentorship skills and support for adult learners.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Current AHA ACLS & PALS Instructor Certification required

Additional requirements

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Payrate

• $37–$41 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
