Role Summary

The Foundations Instructor introduces members to mindful movement and body awareness through yoga, mat Pilates, and barre-style formats. This role builds teaching confidence, class management skills, and alignment with Club Pilates brand standards while preparing instructors for apparatus-based instruction.

Scope of Teaching

• Yoga, Mat Pilates, Barre, Stretch, Recovery formats
• Beginner-friendly, minimal or non-apparatus classes

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging, beginner-accessible classes
• Follow Club Pilates class formats and brand tone
• Provide clear cueing, regressions, and modifications
• Arrive early to prepare space and greet members
• Maintain studio cleanliness and professionalism
• Promote studio offerings, retail, and memberships
• Participate in studio events and promotions
• Uphold franchise aesthetic and culture

Requirements

• Yoga, Mat Pilates, or Barre certification (or equivalent)
• CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and positive energy
• Willingness to pursue Pilates apparatus education
