Job Title: Package Operator II

Job Description

The Package Operator II is responsible for the inspection, labeling, and packaging of finished drug products. This role involves working on the production line where bottles are filled with medicine and requires a keen eye for detail to ensure proper fill levels. Each operator will continue to learn about new equipment and packaging areas through a dedicated curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Work on the production line to fill bottles with medicine.
• Inspect bottles to ensure they are filled to the proper level.
• Package and label finished drug products.
• Read and understand standard operating procedures (SOPs) and complete correlating assessments for each operating line.

Essential Skills

• Experience with GMP, SOP, and cleanroom environments.
• Ability to operate filling machines and other packaging equipment.
• Proficient in inspection, packaging, and labeling processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Entry-level position with training provided.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reliable with strong attendance.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom pharmaceutical environment.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a very clean and sterile environment where lab coats, shoe covers, and hair nets must be worn at all times. Employees are expected to change into scrubs or coats in the locker room before entering the sterile area. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional mandatory weekend shifts. Shift timings include 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, and 3rd shift from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. Currently, there are openings for the 3rd shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
