SAP Clod ABAP Expert

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Cloud ABAP Expert to lead the design, development, and optimization of custom applications within the SAP Cloud environment. This role demands a deep understanding of ABAP programming, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, and the latest SAP Cloud technologies to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Custom Application Development:
  Design, develop, and implement custom applications using ABAP in the SAP Cloud environment, ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.

• Integration with SAP S/4HANA Cloud:
  Collaborate with functional teams to integrate custom solutions seamlessly with SAP S/4HANA Cloud modules, leveraging APIs and standard interfaces.

• Performance Optimization:
  Analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance, scalability, and reliability within the cloud infrastructure.

• Utilization of Cloud-Native Tools:
  Employ SAP Cloud Platform tools and services, such as SAP Fiori, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), to enhance application functionality and user experience.

• Collaboration and Documentation:
  Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and document solutions and processes for future reference.

Required Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Professional Experience:
  Minimum of 5 years of experience in ABAP development, with at least 2 years focused on SAP Cloud environments, particularly SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

• Technical Expertise:
  Proficiency in ABAP programming, including object-oriented ABAP, and experience with SAP Cloud technologies such as SAP Fiori, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP BTP.

• Analytical Skills:
  Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on optimizing cloud-based applications for performance and scalability.

• Communication Skills:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications:
  SAP Certified Associate - Backend Developer - ABAP Cloud.

• Additional Knowledge:
  Familiarity with RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP), CDS views, and OData services.

• Experience:
  Prior experience in migrating on-premise ABAP applications to the SAP Cloud environment.
