Job Overview:

Jersey City Medical Center is looking for a Full-Time Coordinator for the Central Sterile Supply department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CRCST- Certified Registered Central Service Technician thru IAHCSMM or CBSPD
• Have at minimum 1 year of Coordinator experience for a shift
• Work related experience in an acute care Central Service and/or Perioperative Services environment,
• At least 3 years work related experience in a Sterile processing department
• Experience with SPM software a must
• Good verbal and written communication skills,

Scheduling Requirements:

• Night Shift
• 40 hours/week
• Full Time

Essential Functions:

• Utilizes the SPM tracking system to generate and monitor daily reports and compliance,
• Communicates with department Supervisors and staff to ensure instrument availability and smooth operation of department for the next days schedule,
• Able to plan, coordinate and execute a workflow to ensure all trays and case carts are ready for the next day
