Preco, LLC is hiring a Buyer II for the CMS Purchasing Department as a full‑time job based in Somerset, WI . As a Buyer II, you will support procurement operations by purchasing materials, components, and services essential for production and engineering needs. This role focuses on supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

Preco, LLC is a leading provider of advanced materials‑processing solutions. The Buyer II is part of the CMS Division Purchasing team and reports to the Procurement & Materials Manager. In this Buyer II position, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, manage supplier communication, and provide accurate and proactive purchasing support to the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Operations, or related field or 3+ years of purchasing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret fabricated part drawings.
• Familiarity with PCs and common application software.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience with an MRP or ERP system (preferred).
• Prior purchasing experience with electrical and metal‑based components (preferred).
• Ability to evaluate bids, qualify suppliers, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Experience tracking vendor performance and maintaining vendor records.
• Ability to support cross‑functional teams through clear communication and documentation
