The Exercise Coach is seeking an Exercise Coach/Personal Trainer to deliver One-on-One and Small Group exercise instruction to clients of all age groups. Duties include conducting initial consultations, coaching individual and small-group exercise sessions, tracking fitness results for clients, selling monthly and package sessions, scheduling and educating clients, and tracking studio metrics such as lead flow, conversion, retention and client satisfaction.

The Exercise Coach, a hi-tech fitness and health studio, is adding a Strength Personal Trainer in the Flemington studio.

Personal fitness experience is required and training for The Exercise Coach isokinetic methodology will be provided. The ideal candidate is passionate about good health, is people-oriented, and enjoys one-on-one conversations and building relationships. This is a growing studio. We are looking for a coach with flexible hours to support a M-F operation and part time hours on Saturday. Both full and part time positions available.

We understand that everyone knows they should exercise, and everyone wants to be fit and healthy. But, that is easier said than done given busy schedules, and in some cases somewhat beat up bodies.

There is just nothing in the fitness industry that compares to the level of personalization and effectiveness we can provide. Every second of a workout at The Exercise Coach is adapted to our clients individual ability, and our clients programs are completely data-driven.

All employees will receive full training in The Exercise Coach methods and technologies.

Responsibilities:
Develop Comprehensive Health & Fitness Programs for Clients : You'll receive coaching and training on our fitness system, and you'll have to incorporate knowledge into safe, effective exercise programming.

Tracking Client Progress : In order to ensure a client's success in our programs, you'll need to track weekly progress, current successes and challenges, review client nutrition and exercise log worksheets and more on a weekly basis.

Coach clients through program duration: You'll be responsible for weekly exercise sessions and keeping detailed notes on the clients you're working with.

Demonstrate Proper Exercise Instruction: We need you to be able to provide proper instruction during a client training session.

Provide Ongoing Health and Fitness Education: Our clients rely on us to service all of their health and fitness needs.

- Lead Follow Up and Conduct Consultations: Responding to leads in an effective and timely manner is a very important aspect of any successful personal training studio.

Qualifications:
Passion for Health & Fitness: This is where it all begins!
Good Communication Skills: You must be comfortable talking in-person and on the phone, know how to conduct yourself professionally, and deliver clear instructions.
People skills and personality: You must LOVE working with people! This is an exciting studio and you must be able to show your energy and excitement while coaching.

Education:
BS in Exercise Science and/or Kinesiology, preferred
AED CPR certification is required

Base hourly rate plus bonus opportunity
