HVAC Technical Support Specialist
Position: HVAC Tech Support Specialist
Compensation: $60-65k + Bonus
Reports To: Sr. Manager, Tech Support
Role Overview
The HVAC Tech Support Specialist provides technical assistance on HVAC tools and equipment, manages warranty claims, supports repair processes, and maintains parts inventory at the New Jersey office. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Respond to technical inquiries from distributors and end users via phone and email
- Provide product guidance, specifications, and troubleshooting support
- Process warranty claims and assist customers with out-of-warranty repairs
- Track claims, field issues, and service data to support product improvements
- Maintain accurate parts records and manage physical inventory at the NJ office
- Support order processing for parts requests from distributors
- Assist with general support tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Associate degree preferred; technical degree or certification a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience in technical support, refrigeration systems, or HVAC tools preferred
