Compensation Range: $35-40/hr on W2 ONLY!

Job Description:
Design and develop brand-aligned marketing email campaigns from concept through coding, QA, and deployment support.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design and build marketing email campaigns end-to-end
• Create visually compelling, conversion-focused email layouts
• Code responsive HTML emails from scratch using HTML and CSS
• Perform QA testing and rendering checks across email clients and devices
• Partner with copywriters, developers, and marketing stakeholders on campaign execution
• Manage roughly three email campaigns per week, including segmented variations
• Revise and redesign assets as campaign priorities shift
• Maintain organized workflow and proactively communicate status, timelines, and bandwidth
• Identify optimization opportunities and support teammates during lighter production cycles

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience designing and coding marketing emails
  • Strong HTML and CSS skills for email development
  • Ability to build email templates from scratch and troubleshoot rendering issues
  • Experience with email design tools such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator
  • Experience using email QA/testing tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid
  • Strong understanding of email-specific design principles including hierarchy, typography, layout, and visual balance
  • High ownership and accountability with strong deadline management
  • Adaptability in fast-changing campaign environments
  • Proactive communication style with early risk and blocker identification
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to manage feedback across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to polished, error-free deliverables
• Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience with AEM email template builder
  • Copywriting experience or ability to refine subject lines and body copy
  • Familiarity with email personalization and dynamic content
  • Understanding of email accessibility best practices
  • Experience building or maintaining email design system components
  • Basic understanding of marketing performance metrics such as CTR, open rate, and conversions
