Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
- Assist the dentist during treatments such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and cleanings
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Prepare and organize dental materials and tools for procedures
- Provide patients with instructions for oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Record patient medical histories and update dental records
- Schedule appointments and manage patient charts
- Ensure infection control protocols and safety procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Required Skills
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills
- Teamwork and professionalism
