Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Vendor Success & Compliance Manager to join our Vendor Relations team at Sourgum Waste. As a key player in our mission to revolutionize the waste and recycling industry, you will own the onboarding process for new partner haulers onto our haulsourcing platform. You’ll also ensure partner haulers meet Sourgum Waste’s operational standards and are seamlessly integrated into our system. This role is crucial in maintaining and growing our network of 5,000+ trusted vendors, who deliver top-tier, sustainable waste management solutions to our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Onboarding: Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new partner haulers, including account setup, compliance verification, and operational alignment.
Training & Support: Educate haulers on Sourgum Waste’s platform the Sourgum Partner Portal, order management processes, and service level expectations.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all haulers meet regulatory and company-specific compliance requirements, including insurance, permits, and service agreements. Maintain vendor profiles with all required documentation, proper contacts, and operating procedures.
Proactive Monitoring: Track compliance expirations and service level agreement monitoring in order to take corrective action to prevent disruptions in service.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding experience, ongoing compliance, and streamline workflows for efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the vendor relations team, customer service, and operations teams to ensure hauler success and performance alignment.
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in vendor onboarding, partner operations, compliance, logistics, or a related field
Enthusiasm for working with innovative technologies and contributing to industry transformation.
Experience working in a B2B, marketplace, or logistics environment strongly preferred
Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Strong communicator, able to clearly explain processes and set expectations with external partners
Comfortable managing multiple workflows and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
Bonus : Experience conducting vendor trainings or software walkthroughs
Bonus : Familiarity with compliance requirements such as insurance, permits, or service agreements in regulated industries
Benefits
