Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Paulsboro, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support security-related operations through a visible presence and professional communication. This is a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture.

- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitors and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gates, and access points, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Support screening and documentation processes for vehicles, personnel, and materials entering and leaving the location, while maintaining accurate logs and reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
