Contracts Administrator
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Contracts Administrator in Parsippany, NJ. Summary: The Contract Administrator will facilitate, review and monitor all in-scope (both internal and external) contracts, agreements, assignments, amendments and take appropriate action based on nature of transaction. Principle Responsibilities:
- Prepare Commercial bulk and wholesale (for both short- and long-term transactions) contracts and amendments (generated, approved and transmitted by trade date plus 2 days)
- Centralize and coordinate internal and external contract assignment process
- Monitor file retention procedure to ensure compliance with corporate standards
- Ensure that the Commercial department complies with corporate standards and audit requirements
- Track fulfillment of all contract deliverables (e.g. policy and procedures manual, monthly files and reports, development and implementation of methodologies, etc.)
- Ensure consistent and comprehensive records retention regarding agreements
- Proactively monitor key delivery problems, changes and disputes; Ensure that written agreements are updated to reflect the current state of service delivery and obligations of the parties
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business or related discipline required
- A minimum of 0-1 year of experience in a business environment experience is required
- Experience in areas of contract management is required
- Proficient with Microsoft applications (strong Excel skills required)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be customer focused and have ability to build relationships
- Experience in working in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of the Right Angle and Ariba (contract workflow) a plus
