Creole-Speaking Therapist (LCSW/LSW/LPC/LAC)

Mindify Wellness and Care is seeking a compassionate, culturally responsive, and skilled Creole-speaking Mental Health Therapist to provide high-quality behavioral health services to individuals and families throughout New Jersey.
This hybrid position combines the flexibility of telehealth with meaningful in-person work at our partner adult day care centers. Clinicians can build a consistent caseload while making a lasting impact in Creole-speaking and underserved communities.
As part of our growing behavioral health team, you will provide therapy services, build therapeutic relationships with clients onsite and virtually, and collaborate with psychiatric providers and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in community-based settings and is comfortable providing onsite services at partner adult day care centers. Availability to work onsite in Asbury Park at least two days per week is preferred.
Employment and Compensation
Both W-2 employment and 1099 independent contractor opportunities may be available, based on the clinician’s qualifications, availability, desired schedule, and organizational needs.
- Range is $35–$50 per hour
Final compensation is based on licensure level, experience, credentials, clinical expertise, schedule, and employment classification.
Eligible W-2 employees may receive benefits such as paid time off, paid holidays, hybrid work opportunities, and additional company-sponsored benefits.

What You’ll Do
Clinical Services
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
- Develop individualized, culturally responsive treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy
- Use evidence-based approaches, including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy
- Motivational Interviewing
- Solution-Focused Therapy
- Trauma-Informed Care
- Help clients develop coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and wellness goals
- Provide crisis intervention when clinically appropriate
Collaboration and Care Coordination
- Collaborate with psychiatric providers, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in case consultations and treatment-planning discussions
- Coordinate referrals and connect clients with appropriate community resources
- Advocate for clients and support continuity of care
Documentation and Compliance
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Maintain assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements
- Protect patient privacy and comply with HIPAA requirements
- Maintain professional, ethical, and clinical standards of practice
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
- Active New Jersey professional or associate license in good standing, such as:
- LCSW
- LSW
- LPC
- LAC
- LMFT
- MSW
- Other qualifying behavioral health licenses recognized by the State of New Jersey
- Professional fluency in both Haitian Creole and English
Candidates must be able to:
- Conduct clinical assessments in Haitian Creole and English
- Provide therapy services in both languages
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and professionally in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Outpatient behavioral health experience
- Community-based mental health experience
- Telehealth experience
- Experience working with culturally diverse and underserved populations
- Experience serving Haitian or Haitian American communities
Work Location and Schedule
- Hybrid position serving clients throughout New Jersey
- Availability for at least two onsite days per week in Asbury Park is preferred
- In-person services are provided at partner adult day care centers
- Clinicians are expected to engage with clients and develop their caseload through onsite services
- Remaining sessions may be provided through telehealth
- Flexible scheduling and consistent referral opportunities are available
