Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New Jersey or compact state Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience in a hospital setting
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Ability to work every other weekend as scheduled

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care in a busy ER environment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures as ordered
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and outcomes according to hospital standards
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and emergency care protocols
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
