HR Coordinator
Staff Management Group is seeking a HR Coordinator for our client in Dayton, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Pay Rate:
- $20 hour
Job Summary:
A rapidly growing apparel company located in the Dayton area is seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, the ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations through data entry, administrative support, record management, and employee attendance tracking.
This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow within the Human Resources field.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform HR-related data entry and general administrative duties
- Maintain accurate filing systems for employee records (digital and paper)
- Assist with daily employee attendance tracking and timekeeping reports
- Submit employee status changes to the Payroll Department
- Support and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes
- Schedule and coordinate new hire start dates and orientation sessions
- Prepare and manage onboarding paperwork and benefit-related inquiries
- Collect, validate, and maintain I-9 documentation, including monitoring expiration dates and following up as needed
- Update employee records, including salary changes, job titles, department transfers, and other personnel updates
- Provide employee filing and documentation support
- Respond professionally to employee questions and concerns.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish.
- Exceptional Excel skills required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Professional, confident, and enthusiastic demeanor
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Experience with ADP Lyric is a plus
- Strong interest in building a long-term career in Human Resources
