Veterinary Technician Certified or Experienced Surgical & Dental Support

Location: Oradell, New Jersey

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Animal Care of Oradell is a progressive, high-quality small animal veterinary hospital dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care. We are currently seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician or an experienced Veterinary Technician (minimum 2 years in the field) to join our growing medical team.

This role requires hands-on experience in surgical assistance, anesthesia monitoring, and dental procedures . Certification is preferred, but candidates with strong, proven experience in these areas will be equally considered.

What You’ll Do:
As a key part of our clinical team, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with surgical procedures and anesthesia

• Performing dental cleanings and radiographs

• Providing compassionate patient care and animal restraint

• Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring recovery

• Administering treatments, medications, and collecting lab samples

• Communicating with clients and managing follow-up care

• Maintaining accurate medical records and assisting with inventory

What We’re Looking For:
At least 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant

Experience with surgery, anesthesia, and dental procedures is a must

Certification (CVT, LVT, or RVT) is a plus but not required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
