Starting Pay: $14.00–$17.00/hr + Overtime + Bonus Opportunities

LIFEGUARD JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Lifeguard, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of all pool patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. You will enforce pool rules fairly, monitor water quality, maintain a clean and enjoyable environment, and report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to your supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 15 years old by the date of hire.

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

• Must maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate focus and attentiveness at all times

• Must have or complete a nationally recognized Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification before the season begins

ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Experienced and motivated Lifeguards who show leadership and excellent customer service may be promoted to Pool Manager , with increased responsibilities and higher pay. Opportunities will be discussed during the interview.

SEASON DATES

• Opening Day: Saturday, May 23, 2026

• Closing Day: Monday, September 7, 2026

Pay Rate: $15.00–$18.00/hr (based on experience

End-of-season bonus of up to $250.00
