Financial Analyst Sr
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling to support business operations.
- Retrieve, interpret, and analyze financial and operational data using various business technologies and systems.
- Prepare performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
- Support functional areas such as asset management, operations, customer service, or regulatory functions with accurate financial insights.
- Monitor key performance metrics and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business initiatives and process efficiencies.
- Ensure financial practices align with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in project management tasks, including tracking progress and reporting on financial impacts.
Skills:
- Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – advanced, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
- Business Applications: Workforce management systems, project management tools, PassPort, Brio, CIS, EPS, Business Objects, SAP planning, and other enterprise resource planning tools.
- Data Analysis: Strong data retrieval, modeling, forecasting, and reporting skills.
- Business Process Knowledge: Understanding of asset management, electric/gas operations, transmission and distribution systems, customer service operations, or regulatory affairs.
- Performance Metrics: Ability to work with KPIs, financial metrics, and operational benchmarks.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's.
