Introduction:
Our client, a leading provider of Artificial Intelligence Integration Services and innovative data platforms for government and defense clients is seeking a full-time Azure DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Azure cloud environments and a passion for building robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure. What You Will Do:
As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based multi-tenant environments for Department of Defense programs. Your role will focus on creating scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring seamless integration with other cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage multi-tenant environments in Azure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Design and implement Azure-based CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Utilize Azure DevOps services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and other Azure tools to optimize deployment strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and maintenance, including data engineers, software developers, and security experts.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
Monitor, log, and troubleshoot Azure-based applications and infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC) and network security groups (NSGs).
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Azure infrastructure and DevOps processes.
Requirements:
US Citizenship Required: Only US Citizens are eligible for this position.
Clearance: US Citizens, our client will sponsor security clearance.
Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
Experience: Minimum of 6 years in a DevOps or related role, with significant experience in Azure environments.
Azure Expertise: Strong experience with Azure services, including AKS, Azure DevOps, ARM, and Azure Networking.
Automation Tools: Proficiency in Terraform and ARM templates for IaC.
CI/CD Tools: Experience with Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Security Practices: Knowledge of Azure security best practices, including network security, identity management, and compliance.
Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented: Commitment to delivering high-quality results with a detail-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have:
Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
Familiarity with Active Directory integration and identity management in Azure.
Experience with AI/ML tooling in Azure (Azure Machine Learning, Databricks).
