Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Holmdel, NJ at a skilled nursing facility. Provide skilled OT services to residents recovering from injury, illness, or functional decline. You will evaluate functional performance, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe discharge and improved daily living skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
• Demonstrated competency with ADL/IADL training, wheelchair assessment, and adaptive equipment recommendations preferred.
• Documentation experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with restorative nursing programs preferred.
• Certification or training in fall prevention, manual techniques, or cognitive rehab preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:30–16:30.
• Work pattern: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts.
• May be expected to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams within the facility.
