Job Title: Experienced Tow Truck Operator (Flatbed & Wrecker)
Locations: Belle Mead, NJ • Staten Island, NY • Brooklyn, NY (Multiple Locations)
Job Type: Full-Time / On-Call
About Us:
We are a fast-paced, reliable towing and roadside assistance company serving multiple locations across New Jersey and New York, with 24/7 service. We’re looking for an experienced Tow Truck Operator who can confidently operate both flatbed and wrecker trucks and provide professional service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate flatbed and wrecker tow trucks
- Respond to roadside assistance calls, accidents, and vehicle recoveries
- Secure and transport vehicles without damage
- Perform basic vehicle recovery in a variety of conditions
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers
- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating both flatbed and wrecker tow trucks
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, depending on state requirements)
- Clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of towing safety procedures and equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous roadside assistance or recovery experience
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus
- DOT certification (if required)
