Job Overview:
RWJBH is seeking an Associate for our Radiology Support Services at the Morris Cancer Center. Under the direction of the Department leader, provides hands-on assistance in running the day to day non-technical operation for the radiology department. This includes support in radiology reception and the radiology reading room. Coordinates all imaging transactions related to the processing of exam orders, electronic image files and report distribution. Answers telephones, routes callers and provides routine information to callers, performs a variety of clerical tasks.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient with creating and manipulating Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel
- Typing skills, office routine familiarity
Preferred:
- Prior healthcare experience, preferably within the radiology field
- Strong knowledge of medical and radiology terminology
