Product Engineer
Job Title: Product Engineer
Location: Somerset, New Jersey
Type: Contract To Hire
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 8 AM- 5 PM or 9 AM- 6 PM (some flex) M-F
- Design, develop, and manufacturer of electrodes (primarily composed of active material, conducting carbon and binder)
- Characterizing powders, films, and dispersions
- Will work with traditional materials (electrodes, powders), as well as new active materials under development for future commercialization
- BS/MS Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science and Engineering
- Hands-on experience with advanced materials – powder, dispersion/slurry, coating
- Two to five years industrial experience, chemical or materials industry
- Knowledge of Wet or Solid state chemistry
- Experience in using standard laboratory equipment
- Knowledge and Experience in characterizing powders, films and dispersions
