Product Engineer

Job Title: Product Engineer
Location: Somerset, New Jersey
Type: Contract To Hire
Rate: $28- $36/ hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 8 AM- 5 PM or 9 AM- 6 PM (some flex) M-F

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manufacturer of electrodes (primarily composed of active material, conducting carbon and binder)
• Characterizing powders, films, and dispersions
• Will work with traditional materials (electrodes, powders), as well as new active materials under development for future commercialization

Requirements:

• BS/MS Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science and Engineering
• Hands-on experience with advanced materials – powder, dispersion/slurry, coating
• Two to five years industrial experience, chemical or materials industry
• Knowledge of Wet or Solid state chemistry
• Experience in using standard laboratory equipment
• Knowledge and Experience in characterizing powders, films and dispersions
