Overview:

The Talent Brand & Marketing Intern will play a key role in supporting the Talent team through creative storytelling, content development, and digital experience enhancements. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, and internal communications.

 

In this role, you will help bring Talent Development programs to life by designing engaging materials, enhancing internal portals, and supporting recruitment marketing efforts. You will collaborate closely with team members across Talent Development and Talent Acquisition to create compelling content that promotes employee growth, strengthens our employer brand, and enhances the overall employee and candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

Talent Development & Programs Communications

  • Create and design materials such as flyers, one-pagers, presentations, and toolkits to support Talent Development programs (e.g., onboarding, early careers, career mobility).

  • Assist in the creation, editing, and maintenance of marketing content for Talent Development and Acquisition initiatives.

  • Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and visual identity across materials.

Digital Experience & Portal Management

  • Update, redesign, and maintain Google Sites (internal Talent portals) to improve usability, engagement, and accessibility of resources.

  • Audit existing content and recommend enhancements to improve clarity, organization, and user experience.

  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure content remains relevant, accurate, and aligned with current programs.

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Marketing

  • Support recruitment marketing initiatives, including social media content creation and campaign execution.

  • Assist in developing content that highlights company culture, employee experience, and early career opportunities.

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to enhance employer branding efforts and candidate engagement.

Project & Operational Support

  • Maintain tracking tools and content calendars to support Talent initiatives.

  • Assist with ad hoc projects across Talent Development and Talent Acquisition teams.

  • Observe current processes and recommend creative or efficiency improvements where appropriate.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong written and visual communication skills, with an eye for design and detail.

  • Experience creating presentations, marketing materials, or digital content (Canva, Google Slides, etc.).

  • Experience with website or content management (e.g., Google Sites or similar platforms).

  • Basic understanding of branding, marketing, or user experience principles.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation best practices.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • A proactive, creative, and collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn.

We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $20/hour. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
