Construction Laborer

Job Title: Construction Laborer
Location: Lakewood, NJ
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $17.00/hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Responsibilities
• Bring materials, boards, lumber, etc. from lumber yard (outdoors) to the mill shop (indoors) using manual labor, carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Bring fastening equipment to carpenters such as screws, nuts/bolts, truss hangers, staples, etc.
• Remove scrap material from production floor using manual labor and properly dispose (recycle) material.
• Stack finished product in designated areas

Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively throughout 8-hour shift and carry material up to 100 feet unassisted
• Must be able to stand, use of both arms/hands/legs
• Must be able to work indoors and/or outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be 18+ years old and have valid US work authorization
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Ability to work indoors and/or outdoors in various weather conditions
• Heavy lifting required
• Math Skills: Fractions, Measurement
