Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will work off a pick list to bring the appropriate materials to the production floors. This role involves inventory control and cycle counts, ensuring materials are accurately picked, counted, labeled, and transacted. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, boxes, containers, and carts, as well as investigating inventory discrepancies and adjusting errors.

Responsibilities

• Work off a pick list to bring materials to the production floors.
• Conduct inventory control and cycle counts.
• Pick, count, label, and transact parts.
• Load and unload trucks, boxes, containers, and carts.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and adjust errors.
• Enter cycle counts in the inventory control system.

Essential Skills

• Material handling experience.
• Experience with forklift operations.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanners.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM in a climate-controlled facility. The work environment supports employee engagement and offers opportunities for skill development and career advancement.

This is a Permanent position based out of Newark, NY.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
