As a Security Professional - Front Desk Patrol in Madison, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees at the assigned location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize your communication skills to assist guests and respond to inquiries, all while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and are comfortable using technology such as computers or tablets. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and/or client management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
