As an OR Registered Nurse, you’ll be at the heart of surgical teams, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes from the moment you prep the room to the final counts and handoff. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for anesthesia, scrubbing in and circulating, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists, maintaining sterile technique and instrument integrity, conducting thorough instrument and sponge counts, documenting intraoperative events, and monitoring patient status throughout procedures. You’ll support anesthesia teams, assist with positioning and intraoperative management, and help transition patients to recovery with detailed postoperative notes.
