Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Oncology position requiring chemotherapy certification and a valid NJ or Compact RN license.
Details
- Medical Surgical Oncology unit in a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend required based on unit needs
- Travelers may float within their skillset, including to the main New Brunswick campus (connected by a pedestrian bridge)
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Local candidates are accepted
Requirements
- Active NJ or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS and Chemo (ACLS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Two current professional references required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Navy blue scrubs required
- All requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being extended; block scheduling is not approved
- Former staff (full-time or PRN) of this health system must have been separated for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Open or active background or license hits are not accepted
