The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
56 bed Level III NICU with an amazing team of knowledgeable nurses who provide care for very low birth weight and full-term infants. A strong multidisciplinary approach to QI, strong family advisory counsel, and very active unit-based practice council plus unit-based committees. Team Daisy and Infection Control award recipient.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
- Basic Life Support BLS from the American Heart Association
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full-Time
- 6:30pm–7:30am
- 12.5 hour shifts
- 37.5 hours weekly
- Every other weekend is required
- Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs
Essential Functions:
Organize and administer individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports philosophy, objectives along with the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the N.J. State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health.
