The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Overview:
The Director of Productivity will be responsible for oversight of the Productivity department staff, continued implementation and management of external benchmarking, quarterly submissions to Vizient ODB benchmarking, ancillary productivity and annual FTE budget for the Health Care System.
This includes working with various levels of management and finance staff at all facilities throughout the organization to coordinate these projects.
Provides direction and promotes efficiency and effectiveness by identifying, analyzing, standardizing, reporting, making recommended enhancements and process improvements.
Provides tools and/or processes to attain and maintain staffing standards.
Ensures appropriate communication and education for not only the Productivity department but throughout the system on all aspects of the system and projects.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in finance, management, and hospital administration required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance required, Master’s Degree preferred
- Strong foundation in accounting principles and managerial financial techniques.
- Entrepreneurial drive, strong leadership skills, exceptional analytical capability to communicate complex issues to wide audiences; effective leader of teams; and proven ability to partner with various business partners.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability in preparing budgets & knowledge of productivity required.
- Strong communication and well-established process improvement skills required.

Job Function:
- Management of productivity staff and daily projects
- Oversee accurate submission of quarterly ODB benchmarking data
- Continued refinement of ODB external benchmarking reporting
- Educate department leaders on external benchmarking and reporting tools
- Oversee ancillary department productivity and work with department leaders to be within acceptable range
- Provide leadership and education to sites on productivity and budget system
- Assist and review of target adjustments for ancillary division
- Ensure staffing models tie to current FTE budgets
- Oversee accurate budgeting of annual ancillary FTE budget to match staffing models
- Review and approval of staffing models for all ancillary cost centers
