Northeast Precast is a growing precast concrete manufacturer specializing in the design and production of structural precast concrete components. With a strong reputation for quality and service, the company delivers complex projects while maintaining a team-focused culture built on integrity and collaboration.
What You'll Do as an Estimator:
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents for structural precast concrete projects.
- Prepare material takeoffs and detailed cost estimates.
- Send RFQs, submit RFIs, and coordinate scope discussions with vendors and bidders.
- Organize bid files and track current documents and pricing.
- Draft & submit proposals with required schedules and support documents.
- Communicate with customers throughout the bid process to support project closeout.
- Ensure all documentation is provided for the preconstruction meeting and project handoff
- Attend pre-bid meetings and industry events as needed.
Our Ideal Estimator:
- Experienced: 3+ years of construction or construction administration/management experience preferred. Able to read and interpret construction drawings, visualize structural components, and assess constructability. Previous estimating experience is a plus. High school diploma required.
- Organized & Detail-oriented: Maintains accurate takeoffs, pricing, and documentation while managing multiple bids simultaneously.
- Personable: Communicates confidently with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proactive: Follows up consistently, negotiates effectively, and builds long-term relationships that support project closeout.
- Computer Savvy: Comfortable using estimating and drafting tools; SketchUp experience is a plus.
What We Offer Our Estimator:
- $60,000.00-$75,000.00/year, based on experience

- Full-time position, approximately 45 hours per week, in-office with an 8:00 AM start time
